What is the Wegovy pen prescription criteria?
Wegovy can help you to lose weight in a healthy, sustainable way. While it shouldn’t be used as “quick fix” it can help to accelerate weight loss that will help to improve your overall metabolic and cardiovascular health and reduce the chance of longer-term health complications.
You are aged between 18 and 85
You have a BMI above 30 or have a BMI above 27 and a weight-related accompanying condition
(e.g. high blood pressure or cholesterol amongst others)
You do not have diabetes
(or pre-diabetes requiring treatment)
Meet all other clinical criteria subject to your medical history.
During the consultation stage we’ll ask you for more specific information to ensure Wegovy is the right option for you.
