Chia pudding is usually made by soaking chia seeds overnight, which helps make them softer and easier to digest. But if you forget to prep it the night before, you can still make a quick, delicious breakfast in just a few minutes.
Simple combination:
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- Boiling water (about ½ cup / 120 ml)
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder or plant-based alternative of your choice
- 1tbsp cocoa powder
- 100 g Greek yoghurt or plant-based Greek-style alternative
Method:
- Place the chia seeds in a bowl and add boiling water, stir until thickened.
- Mix in the protein powder, cocoa powder and yoghurt until smooth.
- Optional toppings: fresh berries, nuts, coconut or a drizzle of honey/maple syrup.
Practical tips:
- Adjust the water to achieve your preferred consistency
- Add flavours like vanilla or cinnamon for variety
- Can be stored in the fridge for a few hours if needed
