As the festive season approaches, please review our guide to weight loss medication ordering over this period and what to expect. Due to high demand at our clinic and with Royal Mail, timely ordering will be essential to avoid disappointment and to ensure continuation of treatment for our existing patients.
To ensure consistency of your treatment plan and for you to maintain your progress over the festive period, we recommend the following:
We know this can be an expensive time, so bundling treatments is optional for existing patients. If you choose not to bundle, please note the key dates below to ensure you have enough medication for the festive season.
We'll send email and SMS reminders in the coming weeks about reordering and key dates. We would also recommend downloading the Royal Mail app to keep track of your delivery status.
Due to high demand, our team will be especially busy, but we’re committed to maintaining our usual service quality. We will keep you updated on your order status in your Phlo Clinic account and via email and SMS.
Finally, if your delivery address will change over the holidays, please update it accordingly.
Key date - 27 November 2024 (onwards)
Why is this important? You can order 2 x Mounjaro pens from this date to cover you for the festive season
When will I receive treatment? If ordered before 13 Dec, you will receive treatment before Christmas
What happens if I miss it? Treatment bundling is optional. You can continue to order monthly if you wish
Key date - 13 December 2024 (before 12pm)
Why is this important? The last recommended date for submitting your renewal consultation for pre-Christmas delivery
When will I receive treatment? If you submit your renewal consultation ON or BEFORE 13 December, you will receive your medication in time for Christmas
What happens if I miss it? We will continue processing as many renewal requests as we can up until the last dispatch date on Friday 20 December. Any renewal consultations received after 20 December will not arrive in time for Christmas
Key date - 20 December 2024
Why is this important? This is the last dispatch date for pre-Christmas delivery from our pharmacy
When will I receive treatment? Any renewal consultations submitted ON or BEFORE 13 December will be dispatched by Friday 20 December
What happens if I miss it? We will not be dispatching any weight loss orders for delivery between 20 and 26 December. The next earliest dispatch date from our pharmacy will be 27 December

Why is this important? Phlo Clinic is closed
When will I receive treatment? Our team will not be processing consultations or dispatching medication deliveries on these dates

Key date - 27 December 2024
Why is this important? If your order cannot be dispatched before Christmas, our next dispatch date will be 27 December. We will require you to “opt-in” to let us know if you will be at home to collect the delivery before 31 December
When will I receive treatment? We will dispatch any pending orders for patients who have opted-in on Friday 27 December for delivery before 31 December
What happens if I miss it? The next earliest dispatch date will be 2 January 2025
Key dates - 28 December 2024 to 1 January 2025
Why is this important? Consultations will still be processed but we will not be dispatching any weight loss orders for delivery during these dates
When will I receive treatment? The next medication dispatch date will be Thursday 2 Jan 2025

Why is this important? Phlo Clinic is closed
When will I receive treatment? Our team will not be processing consultations or dispatching medication deliveries on this date

Why is this important? Phlo Clinic re-opens for business as usual
When will I receive treatment? Our team will process and dispatch all pending weight loss orders as normal from 2 Jan 2025. Due to high volumes, it may take up to 7 days for your order to be dispatched
Can I get my medication between Christmas and New Year?
If your consultation was submitted after 20 December and we were unable to deliver before Christmas, we’ll aim to dispatch on 27 December. Please opt-in to confirm your availability at your delivery address between 28-31 December.
What if I run out of medication?
Plan your order in advance; we recommend placing it by 13 December. GLP-1 medications have a 4-week “washout” period, allowing a temporary pause if necessary. If paused for 4+ weeks, you’ll need to restart your treatment plan at the lowest dose.
We would recommend completing your re-order consultation as soon as possible in this case so our clinical team can process this for you.
Can I take a break from treatment over the holidays?
While we do not recommend pausing your weight loss treatment, skipping one week’s dose can boost your appetite to enjoy any holiday meals for example. If you pause your treatment for 4 weeks or more, we will require you to re-start your treatment at the lowest dosage and build back up. This is due to the 4-week washout period of GLP-1 medications.
